Enjoy a fun FREE afternoon for the whole family with GlobalFest Groves!
1pm-4pm, Sunday June 26, at Trico LivingWell
Join us at GlobalFest Groves for amazing live performances, fun games & activities, awesome giveaways, and tasty food trucks! Live performances at the outdoor stage will feature performers celebrating Pakistan, Iran, Turkey, Philippines, Brazil, and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
As well, cultural pavilions featuring Indonesia, India, Thailand, and Brazil will be onsite and ready for you to explore as part of the mini Passport Pursuit program. What is mini Passport Pursuit? Bring your smart phones and be ready for an awesome adventure that leads you through the event space and cultural pavilions in pursuit of some great prizes. The grand prize is a VIP package for 4 to GlobalFest’s OneWorld Festival!
Plus: leave your mark on Calgary & enter name suggestions for the park.
Free parking is available on the day of the event at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, within walking distance to the park. Handicap parking will also be available in Kingsland Junction. As this is an outdoor event, please dress for the weather! Although we are expecting sunshine on the 26th, the festivities will move indoors to Trico Homes and the Kingsland Community Association in the event of rain.
